This is the ink I will imprint on the world. It's my unique and honest perspective on life. My thoughts to be shared and to bind us all in a sometimes lonely existence. It's about strengthening the village.

Rainy Days
We've had some rainy and cold weekends of late. This is often what our family room floor looks like and it's amazing how a tent can create enjoyment for many hours.

Gosh....that takes me back. My sister and I often used to make a 'den' in the lounge or the bedroom. It consisted of quilts, a couple of clothes horses, blankets, sleeping bags and cushions draped over and under furniture. We would spend the day modifying it and creating little compartments and adding bits on. We would eat and play in it, and then often sleep in it....until our evil parents told us to pack it away, or shouted at us for dragging all the bedding over the floor! It was sooooo exciting at night when we had our torches in there....reading and chatting by torch light. Amaya must have so much fun in there!! Thank you for the memories.
we never had tent in my childhood. however, when i was little, me, my brother and sister, we used to occupy a small storage room in the top floor as our "playroom". we were playing game time to time there or sometimes make it as secret place for my brother to stay away from my dad..
Just had a chance to catch up on your blog and Amaya is looking amazingly grown up and gorgeous Shan :) Sorry for lack of commenting lately, it's been a bit if a difficult time and lack of computers !
