Our life in the West is so different. I can hear my neighbours in every direction. I hear people walking passed on the footpath. People exercise all the time. Dogs are everywhere. There are people of so many different nationalities. It's a hub every weekend.
We spend so much more time with our niece and nephews. In fact, Amaya goes to 'school' with two of her male cousins.
Even Luke gets to see one of his brothers, nearly every day on the train into work. The brothers and dad go to the movies and go out for dinner. The other Sunday, they even went shopping together. Luke gets to be a brother and a boy, all over again.
There are footpaths everywhere. Every Saturday morning, Amaya and I walk/ride the mail to the local postbox. We rarely use our car. We even walk/pram it to the train station so that we can see Luke come home from work.
And to top it off, there is a family friendly beach 10 minutes down the road. Luke's parents live a two minute walk from this location, so we can all go home for a quick wash and feed when we have had enough.
We are loving our new lifestyle and have realised that we have made the best decision for our little family.

Any concerns that you may have had about moving to the West can be put to rest.
It looks like this has been one of the best things you have done for you, Luke and Amaya.
Although I miss you, I am so happy that it is all working out so well.
Can't wait to visit you all one day.
Love Jo
