I cannot get Hi-5's 'It's A Party' song out of my head. I'm often singing or humming along to the last child's song I heard in my car or house. It's contagious. The music is so bubbly and bouncy.
Part of Amaya's Christmas present was a ticket to see Hi-5 in action. The production was at the State Arts Centre, so it was intimate and child friendly. Even Luke and I were excited about what this group would be like live. And they did no disappoint.
Initially Amaya was in awe of the event, but soon warmed up when the young boy next to her started dancing and yelling out. By the end of it, she was in throes of the mosh-pit and screaming, 'More!'.
The $27 per ticket was totally worth it. The smile on Amaya's face captured the entire day.
