It's only recently that I've truly realised how much my iPod, and sneakers to match, is a favourite.
I've realised this because I have been out of action for one week now. Last Monday I coughed as I walked up my stairs and my back went 'pop' - sounds crazy, I know. It hurt like nothing else and I spent the day at work with my hot water bottle strapped to my back. Then, last Thursday, I was putting Amaya into the car and it went 'pop' again. This time it was excruciating and I screamed out in pain. Poor Amaya, she said in the sweetest little voice, 'You okay mummy?'. And as no child likes to see their mother in pain, I put on the bravest voice and face and replied in the affirmative. I took a trip to the physiotherapist and he did some work on the damaged nerve in my spine. (I often tell my girlfriends that I so should have married a physiotherapist. No matter how un/attractive they are, they have the best hands and relieve me of my pain!)
Now, I'm getting back on track and loving the iPod and sneakers with a new vigour. My iPod goes with me on so many places. It's so manageable and never lets me down.

Yes a physiotherapist for a partner would be something to behold !
I hope you are well on the mend again.
