Christmas in the City

This year Amaya is so into Christmas.  It is so lovely and so painful all at the same time.  Realising that there are queues to see Santa and the Christmas windows has being hard work - hard work for all.  The amount of Santas that we run into at Bunnings, down the street, and in shopping centres that all pass off loads of sugar is many-fold!  But the joy it brings to her face is priceless.  I can now fully understand when older people say, 'Children make Christmas'.  It's so true.  Their innocence and pure joy is something we lose in the adult life.  It's fun to be sharing that fun again.

Amaya pointing to all that she can see Santa.

The big cheesy grin of late.

She was so excited to finally meet him - and Dora was too of course.

Placing her hand on certain aspects of the big Christmas tree brought it to life.

'The Nutcracker' Christmas windows.  Amaya's obsession in ballet and all things girly.
