Our house is 'For Sale'! It's officially on the market. We've already had many groups through for inspections, and some even already asking for the Section 32. I cannot believe we are finally at this spot. I'm nervous, anxious, excited and apprehensive. Have we made the right decision? The houses in the West are so expensive. The lifestyle in the West is so different. Then, I can't wait to be closer to friends and family. I have a new job for 2010 and new direction. I will just feel a little sad when we do eventually sell because of all the hard work Luke and my father have put into renovating our house and gardens. And afterall, this is our first home together. Luke and I brought home our first child here. It holds so many special memories.
We always connect to places in different ways, and at different times, in our lives.
This is what the real estate agent says about our house on their website:
CELEBRATION OF OLD AND NEW
This character weatherboard home has the old world charm of yesteryear but has been completely renovated to a high standard. Wow! You're house looks SOOO beautiful - as it always has!!
You are making the right decision - the west is the best!! I'm so excited to have you on my side of town and working with me at BSC! They say moving house and changing jobs are the two most stressful things one can do and you're doing both in one hit! It's stressful! As Bono once said, "It's just a moment, this time will pass".

Shan what a gorgeous house, I am tempted to buy it, except I know I would end up moving for much of the same reasons you are!
It will go in a flash! Good luck.

such a gorgeous house shan. i'm sorry i didn't have the chance to see it for myself. still, you'll enjoy the changes and the new area you were telling me about sounds fantastic. i had all these same feelings when we sold our first home, the one we brought ella and michael home to. and again when we moved out of our stanley flat, where we brought cally home....the good thing is, memories live inside of you and not in those places we leave behind.
xo
gorgeous. i could move right in!!! and, i don't think i'd have any trouble convincing dave...
