My Health Journey - Week 4

This week I lost 800 grams - now down to 94.8kgs.  So glad to be under the 95kg mark.  With that said, I feel like this journey is a l-o-n-g one.  My goal weight is 75 - 78kgs - still have some way to go.  But my aim is to get there due to my 35 List.  Love crossing things off that List.

Things running through my head this week: are the calories worth it in that piece of food?  That's my latest obsession: calories and nutritional value.

I'm going to try something different this week.  I'm not going to choose a number, rather I'm just going to say that I'd like to be under 94.5kgs.  We'll see what happens.

500 grams this week which was my goal and lands me squarely on 69kgs. A few mini goals coming up are 67.9 (10kg lost), then 65 and the ultimate aim of 62. Only 8 weeks to Thailand, would love to be at least that 65 so another 4kg but 62 is definitely achievable at 7kg. Time to ramp it up!

I hear you on the 'is it worth it' commentary in relation to food. I try to keep it positive though so rather than seeing it as denying myself food I see it as what a waste when I have worked so hard to burn those calories. I do find the sugar and fat cravings start to disappear. If I feel like chocolate I keep it at a few pieces of good stuff like Lindt. I refuse to waste my calories on Cadburys!

Awesome news Alicia. We are with each other all the way! I also agree about not wasting calories on certain foods, and I concur with Cadburys. It takes way too long for me to wear it off, so it's simply not worth it. Keep up the good work. Shan xo
