Best/Worst

Best:

This week I caught up with my 'longest serving' friends, Martine and Kim.  We grew up as neighbours.  Martine and I from birth, and Kim from when she was a toddler.  To this day, we are still great friends.  I never feel judged when I am with these two lovely ladies.  

For our catch up we went to Mart's house by the seaside.  We drank red wine in paper cups and ate fish and chips outside the shop.  We had planned to make it to the beach, but Kim's car had a flat and we had to wait for the tow truck.  It really was a comedy of events.

It felt great to be alone, yet in company.  No children.  Independence driving the car and drinking red wine.  I felt normal ... again.    

Worst:

For this week it's worst and best all at once.  I started back on my medication and stopped expressing/feeding Remy.  Whilst I hate the idea of having to rely on medication to support me through this time, I also realise that it is the best thing for me and my family.  Already I feel better and can manage my day with two rugrats a little better.
