(Werribee Mansion)
I'm stealing an idea from another blog. This other blog is about an American girl completing 24 things in her 24th year of life. Sadly enough, mine reads 34 things because I'm going to be 34 in April! Rather than having New Years resolutions for 2010, I'm taking another tact. I am a list maker, and this tact suits me just fine. I have 365 days to complete the list and 34 things to post on my blog.
Some of the things I have been meaning to do for years. Some of the things will need the help of others, of which I already have in mind. Some will be meaningless or frivulous to you, but mean something to me. Most are money conscious due to our imminent house move.
Here is my 34 List - in no particular order:
2 Hot air balloon ride
3 Take the Melbourne Chocolate Tour
4 Make a cheesecake
5 Read 'War and Peace'
6 Join a book group
7 Take a calligraphy course
8 See a movie once a month
9 Stay over at Werribee Mansion
10 Read one book a month
11 Cycle from Leongatha to Fish Creek
12 Walk the 1,000 steps
13 Run 1 lap around The Tan
14 Visit the Rialto
15 Knit a scarf
16 Make a skirt
17 Complete my wedding album
18 Organise girl functions at my house (quarterly)
19 Get another tattoo
20 Be a vegetarian
21 Jack hammer the concrete at Kingsville house
22 Exercise every day
23 Plane ride over Melbourne with dinner onboard
24 Keep a diary for a whole year
25 Eureka Observation Deck
26 Watch the 'Star Wars' series
27 Have a night at the opera
28 Write my will
29 Watch 'Gone with the Wind'
30 Finish a crossword
31 Be an audience member on the '7pm Project'
32 Spend half an hour in a lift. Say 'g-day' and smile to all.
33 Stay up past 10.30pm for one month
34 Write 4 blog entries every month
Anyone up for the challenge? Anyone care to join me? Wish me luck - I'm very excited.

I love your idea and am currently pondering my own!
There's a few there that I would love to help you with - the skirt, the exercise every day, movie once a month....I hope you don't mind if I pinch one or two....we are SOOOO similar :)
Good luck with them all - I have faith you will do ALL of them with ease!!

Hi Shan,
What a great challenge you have set for yourself! I agree with Ali...you won't have any trouble achieving it.
I am willing to help with number 14I have always wanted to visit the Rialto. My Steve would be more than happy to sit through the entire Star Wars series with you! (lucky you).
Good Luck kido...
