Last Sunday we celebrated Fathers Day. We all met up at a local park and had a barbeque breakfast of egg and bacon. Although the weather was cold, we were rugged up for the event.
We spent time trying to, and successfully, flying kites. The picture below is of my brother, Mark, and his daughter Emily. Emily is so sweet with Amaya. She is gentle and very patient. Amaya loves to follow her around.
The kids took the time to play on the playground. And of course, also did Luke. He loves to fly down the slides.
But on the whole, the kite flying was the most enjoyable part of the breakfast meet-up. Amaya was amazed with the flying face.
She even took the time to have a go at holding the kite with her most favourite person in the world, Poppy.
The smiley face on the kite says it all.
