I've been meaning to start this type of regular blog entry for some time now. I'm going to blog one of my 'favourites' once a month. Favourites are so special. Favourites give you that warm, tingly feeling on the inside. They put a smile on your face every time you look at them or think about them. You really look forward to them.
This month for me it is my hot water bottle. I'm not a fan of electric blankets due to the electrical currents running through your body, but I sure am a fan of the more natural warming system - the hot water bottle. When I was heavily pregnant with Amaya, I had two hot water bottles every night - one for the lower back and one for the upper back. In fact, I designed a hot water bottle that was like a backpack. You could actually walk around with it on your back, rather than having to hold it against a chair. I just need someone to process my idea for it to become a reality!
This particular hot water bottle was given to me as a birthday gift from my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. I adore the pattern and the flower. It is so feminine. Nothing makes me happier then when I come home late at night and my husband has already made the bottle for me and put it under the covers. It's so snug - especially with this cold weather in the mountains. My family couldn't have thought of a more perfect gift to give me.
