A Match Made in Torquay

This story begins 32 years ago.  Three young girls - Kim, Martine and Shan - were born into the same court and to different families.  We spent many weekends and school holidays playing releaso, watching 'Young Talent Time', conducting cake stalls, planning dancing concerts, sleeping in tents in the backyard, playing four-square, holding dinner parties, and so much more.  None of us have sisters, so we were our sisters-away-from-home.

Last weekend, Luke and I, and Kim and Dave (husband), attended Martine and Matt's wedding in Torquay.  It's so lovely to take this journey with your oldest friends.  We had a most enjoyable night, and perhaps too much white wine was drunk on my behalf.

32 years on and all three young girls are married.

The beautiful couple, Martine and Matt.

Kim and I - Martine and I are loving Kim's new fringe.

Luke and I - weddings always make you remember your own wedding day.

Martine, myself and Kim at my wedding.  I was overseas when Kim had her wedding :(.

What a sweet story Shan. Three young girls, three weddings. I love weddings for the same reason you mentioned. They make you think of your own wedding day. You are a beautiful bride. And, may I say how well you look in the recent photos too. xo
