(Amaya in my parents' Tupperware cupboard. She is allowed access to one cupboard in our house and my parents' house, and for her it is the Tupperware cupboard. And I tell you what, she acts like she owns the cupboard and spends time organising it just how she likes it. And yes, her hair is crazy - just like her!)
Anyway, on with the purpose of this blog ...
Norbyah, a friend of mine from Hong Kong, tagged me in the blogging world to undertake the following task, which I found very difficult mind you. As Norbyah mentioned on her tag blog, it is a lot easier to reveal and comment on the negative aspects of oneself.
Here are the rules:
Tell everyone three things you like about yourself.
Tag three people to play along.
Go in peace.
I've broken my three things I like about myself into different categories: physical, mental and emotional - respectively.
ONE - The Physical:
My handwriting. People often comment on my handwriting, so much so, I have written many wedding certificates and place names for tables. I was the first student to receive my pen licence in Grade 4. I have even thought seriously about going into some sort of handwriting business, but the hours it would take me to write the material would not equate with the income. I don't know what it is exactly about my handwriting, but it does work, and it does look different. And to top it off, I am so fastidious with my pens.
TWO - The Mental:
I'd like to think I'm a little quirky and left-of-centre in relation to my mental power. There is no doubt that I'm a thinker and eternally searching to improve my knowledge on all matters in life. I constantly question life and its meaning, and my reason for being here. I constantly question people in order to understand them better. I constantly question issues in the world.
THREE - The Emotional:
The ability to live with the arthritis on a daily basis and, for the most part, mask the pain with a positive and happy spirit. I'm not too sure if my mum and Luke would agree with this comment because they would suffer the brunt of my grumpiness due to the simple fact that they are the closest to me. It's just that I know they will always love me regardless of how cranky I may be from day to day.
---------------------------------------------------------
Now since I don't have any friends who blog, aside from Norbyah and Emily (already been tagged), and Tanya (who hasn't announced her blog to the world just yet), I've decided to tag three friends who I'm expecting will add their positive aspects to the comments section. These three friends are: Alison, Brooke K and El. I look forward to reading your responses. xoxo

I love your latest blog! It is so lovely to hear you say those fantastic and such true things about yourself. I am also inspired to start a blog - and like Tanya, I may have to hide it from the world - or maybe I won't. It will be where I carry out the task you have set for me...three things I like about me...this could take a while.
I also love your goals blog...so inspiring....xox
Alison
Ok Sexy, as requested.... here are my three:
1. My humour - this includes not only the things that I laugh at, which of course I think are funny and appropriate to laugh at, but also my ability to make other people laugh.... sometimes inappropriately. I always seem to have a lot of fun and love being surrounded by laughter. I think part of the laughter stems from my ability to bring out the sometimes hidden devil in people!!
2. I love a dare - I love to just fly by the seat of my pants and do something outrageous on the spur of the moment. The last outrageous thing I did was take a midnight walk with my partner on our estate to see if there was any scandle happening outside at a neighbours house warming - there was none. I suggested creating our own to mask my disappointment and promptly took off my pyjama bottoms and ran down the road - he tried to stop me.... but he wasn't strong enough to supress my urge!
3. My feet - my mother had a policy growing up, that my sister and I should always wear Clarke's shoes, have our feet measured regularly, and heals and points were definately off limits. I hated it at the time, whilst my "bones were still growing and forming", but I see now that she did know what she was talking about as I have not ended up with "hammer toes" as she describes them. I thank my mother for my feet and my ability to wear my thongs with pride.
Love El.
