Just today I walked into my regular cafe joint, and the waitress commented on how much Amaya has grown. Her exact words were, 'She's not a little baby anymore'. And, it is remarkable how much babies change in such a short period of time. Here's what I know about Amaya at four months:* She can suck her thumb and dummy at the same time.
* She sleeps like the dead - just like her father.
* She LOVES her Nana.
* She is a real old lady, often having her hands clasped in the praying position.
* She talks a lot to her toys.
* She is the length of a six-month-old baby.
* She straightens her body when she cries - just like her father used to.
* She has the longest fingers - lucky we have a piano in the house.
* She doesn't say no to any new food.
* She loves having a spa on Spa Sunday (picture above).
* She puts her feet in her mouth.
* And, she definitely knows her parents' voices and faces.
I feel like Amaya has been with me my entire life. She's my best friend, daughter, house mate, and walking buddy, all rolled into one. And, I just heard a little whimper from the baby monitor ...

Amaya is growing so fast. She is just gorgous and I can't wait to see her again. Before you know it, she will be crawling around and trust me, you will know you are alive then chasing after her. They show us something new everyday don't they? I love that you share spa sunday together and that Amaya is your best mate, it's true, you can tell them anything and they just agree with you!
